The objective of Eastview Apartments is to provide the highest standard of living to the best quality tenants. The owners take pride in the appearance and integrity of the facility and strive to be responsive to the needs of their tenants.

Cost Effectiveness

Eastview Apartments strives to be a top-tier complex at a competitive price. Your rent stays at a fixed price as long as you stay and remain a student at the University.  Your rent includes all fees and assessments that you might see at other complexes.  Power and water are the utilities that you will have to pay separately.  Other optional payments are parking and cable tv.

Security

We take security very seriously.  Each stairtower is locked 24/7 and has an intercom and buzzer system for access by visitors.  Each apartment has a door lock and deadbolt. The complex is completely fenced in, with access only through the front driveway. The interior stairtower lighting is on around the clock and the building has area lighting on all sides, with no dark areas.  A high-resolution security camera is situated at the front parking lot entry to deter persons not associated with the complex.

High Speed Internet Service

Eastview Apartments currently has in place a high speed ethernet internet service to each bedroom. The service is a 22.0 megabyte per second (mb/s) download and 5 mb/s upload Cable Modem service which feeds state-of-the-art network switching equipment in the building. This ensures that each tenant has a full bandwidth connection to their computer. A Cisco wireless network is also provided. The system has had excellent reliability and the cost for internet service is included in the base rent.

Non-Smoking

Eastview Apartments is a non-smoking building. Smoking is only allowed on balconies with doors closed, or outside the building.

Background

Eastview Apartments was constructed in 1995. It is a privately owned and managed building. The owner, a consulting professional engineer and UI grad, designed the mechanical and electrical systems for the building. All floor plans were designed by a professional architect. This is the owner's only apartment property.
